AMY STORY, President/CEO

Amy has been with the BKCEDC since September 2016.  Amy began at the BKCEDC focused on marketing, communication and special projects for the BKCEDC, as well as website management.  Over the past few years, Amy’s role in the organization has increased, as has her impact on project procurement, Member relations, marketing and operations.

Amy stepped into the role as President/CEO in the fall of 2019 and will lead the BKCEDC in its mission to promote business opportunities that will strengthen and grow a vibrant and diverse economic future for Kendall County.

Amy comes to the BKCEDC with a background in finance, marketing & law. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing, as well as a J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin.

Amy has been active in the Kendall County community in a variety of capacities, with a particular emphasis on volunteer roles within Boerne I.S.D., the Boerne Education Foundation, as well as serving on the Board of Das GreenHaus, Kendall County’s first business incubator.

ALISON CHURCH, Chief Operating Officer

Alison has been with the BKCEDC since September 2015. Alison’s responsibilities, include: site related research and data collection; maintaining all technology, managing the website, social media and all office operations. Alison was certified as a Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) Coordinator in 2017 and works as support to the Chief Administrative Officer and the BRE Committee on further developing the BRE Program.

Alison brings her knowledge of site selection, tenant requirements, and client relationships to BKCEDC prospects with her background in Interior Design/Architecture. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources from The University of the Incarnate Word as well as an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from St. Philips College.

NATALIE MROZ, Chief Administrative Officer

Natalie has been a member of the BKCEDC team since November 2017. Her responsibilities include assisting the President/CEO and Chief Operating Officer with daily operations of the office, as well as managing the project management system and ensuring the team has a current and accurate list of projects. Natalie was recently certified as a Business Retention & Expansion Coordinator and is now the lead point of contact for BRE.
