BRE Program Goal

When your organization grows and prospers, so does our economy and in turn our community. The local Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) Program exists to help ensure your continued success and growth in Kendall County.

BKCEDC leverages a wide range of resources and puts them at your fingertips. Together with our BRE Team (City of Boerne, Kendall County, workforce agencies and EDC Private Investors), we address a multitude of challenges and find ways to help your company.

We believe as your company prospers our community strengthens. We assist local firms with challenges including facility expansion, site selection, infrastructure assistance, access to qualified job applicants, and more.

The process to get started is simple: We have a conversation. We believe that discussing your company’s unique structure and opportunities lets us understand your growth needs and pair your company with the expertise or the services that can meet those needs. Best of all, there’s no charge for our services.

Growth is too important to leave it up to happenstance. Economic development means determining how you want your community to look. The EDC is the mechanism to ensure that we have a shot at maintaining our quality of life along with future economic prosperity.

The EDC helps our area maintain a good balance of commercial properties, strong businesses, affordable housing, a qualified labor force and amenities that are attractive to people. They are helping to manage growth so that it happens the right way.
